“Top 15 Masters of Contemporary Artists”
For Griffith, this is another affirmation that she is indeed one of the top abstract expressionist painters in the world. This announcement followed Art Tour International Magazine naming her one of the "Top 60 Masters of Contemporary Art" in 2015 and 2016. Her painting, Abstract U-312 (Oil on Canvas 48”x60”), received ‘The Timeless Image’ Award and distinction .
The contemporary art market continues to watch Griffith as her global recognition expands. She has represented the United States in the Art of the Americas in Toronto, Canada and the following year for the exhibition in Lima, Peru. She has also exhibited alongside the Salon des Artistes Independants of France at Art en Capital, held at the Grand Palais in Paris, France. 2017 will be another great year for her as she returns for her third year at the Grand Palais and was juried into the Biennale London. For the fourth year, Griffith’s work will be on special exhibition with Art Fusion during Art Basel in Miami.
Steadfast in her resolve to be successful internationally, Griffith has pressed forward and her work continues to find its way into ever widening International markets. As an artist she has created her own brand of abstract work. Her abstracts are exquisitely experiential. Color, rhythm, and texture ignite both emotion and imagination. Unwilling to state an exact meaning, she wants the experience of the viewer to yield its own interpretation of each painting. Each Griffith abstract is characterized by its own color palette, rhythms, and textures. She paints with oil paint, wet-into-wet. Palette knives are employed to skillfully manipulate the paint. The result is masterful abstract expressionism. The work has been described as complex, haunting, and exhilarating.
